May is National Skin Cancer Prevention Month
Want to enjoy this summer without feeling "fried in the sun"? There are guidelines for protecting your skin from developing melanoma's and other skin conditions.
Wear sunscreen when outside - SPF 15 or higher! Limit your sun exposure. A large brimmed sun hat can be a cute topping on your outfit.
Most importantly - get a checkup. When you have your annual physical, make sure you ask your doctor to do a skin check. Or if you have concerns - don't wait. Set up an appointment to have your skin checked. Skin cancer can be cured - provided you catch and treat it early.
